More Information
It is important to note that a separate TopCover policy is arranged by Etihad to offer basic protection to all pilots. The airline is the policyholder and receives the monthly benefits as a contribution to the cost of keeping you employed when you are long-term sick. The airline is therefore financially encouraged to retain you during the initial 90 / 180 day Waiting Period.
Your individual TopCover benefits are completely separate from the airline’s policy and under your direct control.
